Quick and Easy Caesar Salad

Our Caesar salad recipe is quick and easy to make, and crispy prosciutto makes it extra tasty.

Ingredients

Store bought Caesar salad dressing
Butter lettuce leaves
100g sliced prosciutto
Chopped fresh chives
200g sourdough bread cut or torn into bite-sized pieces
Sliced avocado
Hard-boiled eggs
Olive oil
Salt
Shaved parmesan

Instructions

1. Line two baking trays with baking paper and preheat oven to 200°C or 180° fan forced.
2. Place sourdough on one tray and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt. Bake the bread for 10 minutes until it is crispy. On the other tray place the prosciutto and bake for six minutes until crispy. Let cool slightly before breaking it up into small pieces.
3. Divide butter lettuce leaves between two bowls, before topping with prosciutto and toasted bread. Garnish with hard-boiled eggs and avocado and drizzle over Caesar salad dressing. Finish the salads with shaved Parmesan and chopped fresh chives.
